How to blacklist a network on your endpoint

This will allow to bar up to 25 mobile networks on the endpoint without modifying the roaming profile.  This can be used for troubleshooting an endpoint that has issues on a certain operator without changing the roaming profile for all endpoints.

  • View/Create/Modify/Delete endpoint Network blacklisting via the Endpoint diagnosis – view network coverage page.

  • Via the new endPointBlacklisting API, you can “add” and “remove” a list of networks from the endpoint’s blacklist

  • Via the new endPointCoverage API, you can get the coverage for a given endpoint

  • Feature is available for all Enterprises and visible by all (new and existing)

Bar one or multiple networks for one or multiple endpoints only without modifying the roaming profile for troubleshooting reasons.

It can happen that a mobile operator has data issues locally -i.e. in most regions of the country data works fine but in a particular location not. If one the customer’s device is in that location, you might want to force the change to another operator but without modifying the roaming profile. Changing the roaming profiles implies affecting all the endpoints linked to it and these endpoints might not be experiencing any issues in their locations.
