How to select the optimal breakout for your data traffic
The Sim For Things platform is built across three regions and offers different ways to breakout the data traffic.
Depending on the location of your devices and application service you my need to have a specific setup to optimise the latency from device to application service.
A. Options for solution deployed in a fixed location in one region - based on APN
For solutions deployed in Europe in one region
Use “bicsapn” APN
Default for Standard, Premium, Travel SIM, Single IMSI Roaming Pricing
For solutions deployed in Asia,America or Europe in one region
Use “asia.bics” APN for the Asia region
Use “america.bics” APN for the America region
Use “europe.bics” APN for the Europe region
Or use a specific APN
Only possible if Premium or Single IMSI Roaming Pricing
Also available if Starhub IMSI is used in USA

Private Data Centre options:
Private Data Centre connectivity only
Private Data Centre connectivity with Static Private IP addresses per Endpoint managed by BICS
Private Data Centre connectivity and integration with customer’s Radius server *Please check for protocol interworking possibilities
Private Data Centre connectivity with public IP addresses (bring your own) for Endpoints.
