Where can I check my invoice details and a breakdown of my monthly charges?

A customer can go to the Billing tab and check the details and breakdown of their billing details at any time via the SIM for Things portal.

Here, the accrued charges and consumption for the current month as well as the last 6 months can be consulted and downloaded with full details on total amount, the split of applied fees and usage charges of service like SMS and data used in different rate zones.

Additionally, at the end of each month, BICS sends invoices to its customers by email.

These emails have as attachments the actual invoice document in PDF format, signed with an electronic certificate, and an excel sheet with invoice details.

The full history of these emails as well as the attached documents can also be retrieved at any time from our MyBICS portal via the following link: https://my.bics.com.

If you are not yet registered in MyBICS, you can request access by contacting your BICS Account Manager.

I have a Pre-Paid account when will my balance be deducted for different services

There are 3 different kind of service fees that can be deducted based on the contractual obligations

  1. One Time Fees - fees deducted only once

  2. Monthly Recurring Fees - Fees deducted every month

  3. Realtime fees - fees deducted in realtime based on certain service usage

One Time Fees

The deduction is done at the order/execution of the service

  • New SIM card order

  • Any setup fees (VPN, private APN, static IP, etc.)

  • SIM activation fees (applied one-time when the SIM is activated)

  • Dynamic Benefit fees for one-time benefit

  • Add-On fees for one-time Add-on bundle

Monthly recurring fees

The deduction is done on 1st day of every month

  • SIM MRC based on the number of Active SIM cards

  • Dynamic Benefit fees for monthly recurring benefits

  • Add-On fees for monthly recurring Add-on bundle

  • SIM MRC for Value added services activated for the SIM card (for e.g. permanent roaming in Brazil, NB-IoT)

Realtime fees

The deduction is done in realtime of the service usage

  • For Data usage in 2G/3G/4G/5G/LTE-M

  • For NB-IoT usage

  • For SMS related services like A2P, P2A, P2P sms

  • SIM MRC when a SIM is activated during the month

 

If there are “minimum monthly fees” commitments in the contract and the “Monthly recurring fees” + “Realtime fees” does not add up to the minimum commitment then the difference is deducted from the balance on the midnight of last day of the month.

Major deduction of SIM MRC and other recurring fees happens on 1st day of every month, make sure early enough before the end of each calendar month that your balance is sufficient to avoid automated suspension.

Please take into account the bank transfer delays: payment must have reached BICS bank account to avoid suspension.
