4. Billing report dimensions and metrics

Dimensions are descriptive characteristics or attribute of your data. Example: dimensions show you when, where, what, why, with whom and how you view data in the report. The metrics are always expressed by numbers (number values, %).

Dimensions:

DATE - month of a given record
CUSTOMER - name of the account (reseller and or enterprise(s))
CHARGING CATEGORY - Charging Category to which the Billing record refers to: SIM Based Fees, One Time Fees, Recurring Fees, Benefits, Minimum Fee or Services
FEE CATEGORY - Fee Category to which the Billing record refers to: SIM Activation, SIM Activation with MDB, Setup Fee - Integration, Setup Fee - APN, Setup Fee - VPN, Monthly Recurring Charges, SIM Management, Dynamic Benefits, Fixed Benefits, SIM Order, Delta to Monthly Minimum Fee, Feature Based SIM Management, Data Usage, NB-IoT Usage, SMS Usage
FEE TYPE - Fee Type to which the Billing record refers to: Non-Pooled, Pooled, Tier base per SIM, NB-IoT access - Base Fee, A2P, P2A, P2P ON-NET, P2P OFF-NET

ICCID, MSISDN - in case of SIM Based Fees, if SIM details are available, its ICCID and MSISDN are provided
TARIFF - Tariff applied to Service Usage (Data, NB-IoT or SMS)
RATE ZONE - Rate Zone referring to Service Usage (Data, NB-IoT or SMS)
DYNAMIC BENEFIT - Dynamic Benefit details

Metrics:

Metric	How is the metric calculated?
COUNT_OF_READY_TO_ACTIVATE_SIMS	No. of Units counted for a given Charging and Fee Category. E.g., No. of SIMs in a SIM Based Fee, or No. of SMSs in SMS Usage
COUNT_OF_PRE_ACTIVE_SIMS	Volume Charged in Data or NB-IoT Usage
COUNT_OF_ACTIVE_TEST_SIMS	Amount Charged of a given Billing record (in the Currency of the SFT Account)
