New in SIM for Things Portal and APIs

Reporting improvements

  • New “SIM History” report in the statistics menu

    • See the SIM state history when the state was changed.

  • New scheduled tasks for Usage report data, SIM status report data, SIM Event report data and Billing report data.

    • Receive a weekly or monthly report via mail (zipped csv file). The weekly report shall be generated every Sunday providing data from previous Sunday to Saturday and the monthly report is generated on the 1st day of the month at 16h00 UTC.

    • Report export of the raw usage, billing, sim status / event data. (raw data contains fields that refer to ID’s)

  • Usage report improvement: the usage data will be shown based on the account time zone.

  • New “Billing Direct Margin data” report for resellers and enterprise (Released in begin March)

  • The account events

    • New Callback API with Endpoint Events

Notifications

  • Increase the API and MAIL text limit for notifications from 200 to 1000 characters.

Geolocation information

  • New “check geolocation” via the Endpoint diagnose - Integration with Google maps API.

    • Provides the longitude and latitude for the Cell ID where the endpoint is registered on.

    • Shown the Cell location on Google maps (the location accuracy depends if the Cell is in a rural or urban area)

Service status information

  • New top menu with link towards the SFT status page: https://status.sft.bics.com page

  • New Status link to the https://status.sft.bics.com page on the login page and documentation top menu.

  • Service popup on the SFT homepage.

    • In case of a Planned work notification or a hotfix

    • In case of a Service impact notification

Addon improvements

  • Deactivate an addon after the usage has started.

Counter improvements

  • Counter expiration time is shown in the portal and returned via API

API improvements

  • New Hierarchy API that returns the list of sub accounts (for resellers)

  • Query parameters for the Fetch SIM API (filter results based on iccid,msisdn,imsi,endPointId,simStatusId,simAttachStatusId,accountId,simProductID)

  • SIM state timestamp (lastSimStateChangeDateTime) via the fetchSIM and GetEndPointProfile API’s.

    • Under the SIMs page a new hidden column “Last SIM Status Date time”

    • In the Endpoint Diagnosis Page a new field “Last SIM Status Change Date time”
