New in SIM for Things Portal and APIs

Reporting improvements

  • New “SIMs” report in the statistics menu (will be released in begin July)

    • New aggregated view for usage done per country, network or rat type

    • New aggregated view amount of SIMs per country, network or rat type

  • Out phasing old reports. As from the next release 4.10 (July-August), the old reports will no longer be updated with new data. The new Qliksense reports also contain all information, so there will be no 2 reports for the same data.

Endpoint API management

  • Added support to edit the endpoint name via the endpoint API.

    • the endpoint name size is limited to 30 characters

  • Added support to edit the endpoint name via the bulk endpoint API in case multiple endpoints need to be adapted with the same name.

SIM transfer improvements

  • Advanced search based on ranges next to the existing value or list options

  • Enable un-selection of a few SIMs after clicking on the “Select all” button when 4000 SIM are selected.

  • New table navigation buttons, FIRST | PREVIOUS | NEXT | LAST

  • Removed “SIM Assign to Child “ screen

Endpoint TAGs

  • The amount of endpoint TAG that can be create has been increased to up-to 1000. 

LTE-M radio access type

  • As part of this release, the preparations were done to support LTE-M as a separate radio access type (the new radio access type will be enabled on the UI in a future next release). Currently LTE-M is still part of the 4G radio access type. Some operators start to split LTE-M and 4G.

    • The LTE-M radio access type will also be added into the service, plan, benefits, MDBs, counter, notification, reporting, barring.
